i indeed have mdb. file inside editor folder and i tried your method and result was that it opened the original mapigor90 wrote:I think the problem may be caused by "...\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\editor" location. It should also be a file called "test.mbd" there. This file is needed to open up Your map in editor. If You rename Your map files in Your base\map location, there's no reference for the editor to open up map files. I don't exacly know what's inside this file, but look inside that folder, and see if there is a file called like your map file. Than try following:
1. Make a backup of Your map files and .scs file too.
2. Remove your old "europe"-called files from "\base\map\".
3. Rename your map file names to "europe". In the resault You should have in Your "\base\map\" file called "europe.mbd" (instead of test.mbd) and a folder with map sectores called "europe" (instead of "test").
4. Repack .scs with new map files.
5. Open Ets, type in console "edit europe"
6. If map loads properly click on "SAVE MAP" button and then save with your custom map name (for exapmle "test")
Let me know if it helped.
I have tried with several names and several ways, but still i can't get it work. If someone still have ideas, i can try 'em.
