This is where topics get moved that aren't caused by bugs in our mod

Hi,

i don`t if its a bug, but the names of citys/roads on the signs in germany for me do not appear.

Heres a screenshot:

But when i`m driving very closely to the sign the names on the sign appear. They appear like a ghost, mybe this is helpful.

Just running the 1.90 promods version with early spring mod by roppassiak, but also have this issue without it. Maybe its a graphic issue ? All settings are on high/medium.

regards, johnny

I cannot replicate this behaviour. It may be a mod you're using...

I also have this problem. The only mod that I suspected may be causing it was realistic lighting. I disabled that mod but no change. The only other mods I use are trucks and engine sounds and the Rus map. I disabled Rus map and everything associated with it but no change. I saw this on a journey between Hannover and Dusseldorf , on roads that are new in 1.9

Could it be a corrupt def file ? Or as Johnny says , a graphics setting ?

Try to disable ALL mods and see if it still happens.

We need to rule out if are a cause or not.

;) it can also see a conflict between mod / map def / sign / template.sii (shared file)

Good thinking.

Which other mods are you using?

That would not cause this:

If there was a conflicting template.sii, the sign printing would not be visible at all. Instead, here you see it is visible at close range.

Maybe it has something to do with graphics settings.

OK. I tested with a vanilla profile , no other mods and the problem is still there.
I use a custom profile in nVidia inspector and also nVidia control panel and I'm starting to suspect this is the cause.
In the driving I did yesterday , I didn't have any problems in Estonia or the new areas in France. The signs there are OK.

I will do some experiments with my nVidia profile and see if I can find the issue.

Thanks :)

(Loving 1.9 , amazing job guys !)
