Maybe it's just an isolated case, but maybe it can be applied to others. So I'm sharing this tip with you.

After switching from the x64 "eurotrucks2.exe" to the x86 one, on ETS2 1.16.2, I've got an important FPS gain running the ProMods map. For example, on x64, when entering Ljubljana (Slovenia) I experienced stuttering. On x86, everything is smooth.

Maybe because the SCS team still works on the 64bit executable, or maybe just the fact that x64 programs have longer memory addresses, I don't know. The idea is that the x86 version works better for me, and maybe for some of you too, with older/weaker PC's.

x86 works better for me also, hopefully SCS will work on a better x64 version of the game :)

I'd say it's mostly down to your PC. There's no point using x64 if you've only got 4GB of RAM or less.
Curry?! My manual doesn't have any data on curry... What's the meaning of this...?!

When I switched to the 64bit game, I noticed a small improvement in performance. It may be coincidence, but with ProMods 1.9, the game runs better than ever!
As said, it's really down to user's systems what works best, and there's no harm in trying different options :D

Depends on the Computer Specs I'd say, honestly I've not seen a Difference between playing in 32bit and 64bit by now, but I play 64bit because it could theoretically use all my Memory.

Asus P8Z68 Deluxe
Intel Core i7 3770k
G-Skill 16GB (4x4 CL9) 1600Mhz DDR3
Asus GTX970 4GB
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
2TB on 2 SATA3 7200rpm HDDs

It's the default mode... you need to use command line parameter -64bit to use the x64 mode. If you launch the game via the Steam icon or Library, you will be presented with both options on start-up.
