does anybody here play chess?
i want to learn to play so if someone can help me, i will be appreciated

It has been a while since I played chess, but I do know the basic rules and some advanced rules (en-passant, rocade)

If you need help with what each piece can do, here is a guide I found on Google:

Pawns: Pawns can only move forward. On their first move, they can move one or two squares. Afterwards, they can move only one square at a time. They can capture an enemy piece by moving one square forward diagonally.

Bishops: Bishops can move any number of squares diagonally.

Knights: Knights can move only in an L-shape, one square up and two over, or two squares over and one down, or any such combination of one-two or two-one movements in any direction.

Rooks: Rooks can move any number of squares, up and down and side to side.

Queens: Queens can move any number of squares along ranks, files and diagonals.

Kings: Kings can move one square at a time in any direction.

The En-Passant rule:
If a pawn has moved two places as their first move, then an enemy pawn can capture this piece by moving diagonally behind the piece. This is only allowed in the first turn after the other player has moved his pawn forward. If you don't understand it yet, here's a picture demonstrating this move:



The Castling Rule (Roccade).
This is the only chess move where two pieces are moved at the same time and the only one where the king moves more than one tile. The moves goes like this:
- The king moves two tiles towards one of the rooks.
- The rook jumps over the king.

The result is this:


This move can only be done if:
- All tiles between the king and the chosen rook are empty.
- If the king and the rook have never moved in the game.
- If the king is not in a check position before or after the move.

These two rules are nice to keep in mind.

i known those moves but i didn't knew how to make them
