Formula 1
Yeah, probably, but F1 tracks have huge corners and some areas where you can achieve that speed, but just several places in the world have them. Bugatti can achieve that speed, but it can only in straight road - without people, traffic.... American NASCAR racing cars can achieve about 300km/h....We can't control all sports, so we are powerless.

I agree that the cars should be faster and louder than they are now. That would make F1 more interesting and there would be more spectators on races than now. But IMO the biggest problem is that the tickets for the races are way too expensive. The cheapest ticket costs about 80 €. If Bernie would lower the price of the tickets, he'll get a lot more spectators on the race.

F1 cars, no regulations, no limits, would you all want that?
Are you sure?
2014 and 2015 season engines, much more comfortable to the ears than the whining engines of the 2000's. "15.000rpm vs 18.500rpm, less difference than I thought"
340km/h top speed on a 1km straight, with settings for a road circuit setting, is that bad?
2015 F1 Engine = Ford Focus Ecoboost, uh, what?!
F1 vs GP2 laptimes. A seconds difference in laptimes?
The 2015 cars are mostly around 1s slower than the cars of 2013.
What's wrong in F1?
In my opinion: Rich team gets most of the cash "champion positions"
So no wonder there are no close racing. "midfield cars have close racing tho"
Yes, I do watch to F1.

I watch the races. I tend to record qually and skip through it all.
I'm not too interested at the moment with the lack of any close racing and overtaking. Some races are so boring these days it's like watching two trains on the same rail line race. They need to do something to close the grid down to make it a good fight up front while improve the chances to over take without the need to equipment like the DRS.

Of course we want no limits. F1 should be the pinnacle of motor sport, and should be a test of teams' ability and design. Stupid rules constantly ban exciting developments. Every step is one backwards rather than forwards at the moment. Speeds haven't changed in years and the power output is certainly too low with turbocharged engines. My point was that you can probably tune a 1.6l Ford engine to roughly the same power output as an F1 car and that really shouldn't be allowed to happen. V8s or V10s are a must. Nobody desires to drive an F1 car, they want an Audi R8, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari LaFerrari. This is because they all have a screaming V10 or V12 engine and one even has more power than an F1 car. Road cars should not have more power than an F1 car.Shiva wrote:F1 cars, no regulations, no limits, would you all want that?

I prefer drivers that are alive, instead of dead heroes.
Power output too low?
Good luck with that 1.6l Ford engine
I would prefer to drive a NASCAR car
There might always been road cars that have more hp than F1 cars.

Since when is the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg part of F1 again? :O
