What a shocker, people hate STEM. Actually you hate incompetent teachers or don't invest an appropriate time for the subjects or are just lazy :P

Very true! I'm generally interested in STEM subjects but bad teachers could easily change that.
As for which subject(s) I hate, I guess the answer is geography, at least at school- I'm still interested in it but the GCSE killed my enjoyment of it in school and made me sure I don't want to take it for A-level!

STEM is an abbreviation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, so is used to describe all subjects in these areas.

GCSE stands for General Certificate of Scondary Education. It is what students in their UK do in the last two years of secondary school (like I did for the last two years).

(in the UK except Scotland) a qualification in a specific subject typically taken by school students aged 14–16, at a level below A level.

Well, since I'm not at school anymore (to be more precise, I only have to do my MSc Thesis), I'll speak from a past perspective.

I actually loved maths and physics. And if you want to become a civil engineer like me, you need both of them. Otherwise, this is not the study for you.

I disliked French (which I could thankfully drop in the fourth year of Middle School) and reading books for ANY language course (those books took so much time, and in later life I see no practical use of it...)
