IMO, Calais makes sense to be pretty small... in real life the town has a population of only around 51,000. While it's important due to the placement of the ferry, it doesn't serve much purpose outside of that. Giving Calais a rebuild seems fairly paltry when all of Southeast France is still not publicly available. All in good time though, I'm sure ;)

EDIT: Kuba141 (I believe that's the username) made a eurotunnel mod that does actually include a much more complex Eurotunnel than the one SCS did with the toll (although it doesn't actually charge you, the gate is just there in spirit).

I agree.
Considering it's small size as mentioned, SCS has even made the characteristic Calais City Hall as scenery. So i don't think Calais is one of the poorest cities in terms of details that SCS has made.
But a rebuild of the Eurotunnel gates in the future could may be an good idea ;)

The only thing about Calais I don't like is how the actual port looks like Dover. Those big ramps in Calais are not present in real life and it bothers me. The port of dover isn't too badly represented but Calais bothers me.

If childhood memories are correct, those big ramps were there in the 80's.

The ramps ONTO the boats are there but the others arr meh. Calais does have like eleveated sections of road but it looks different. Dover can pass as Dover but I look at Calais and think eww, that's not the Calais I love to hate.

It's low prority though. Just as in real life I try to minimize my time spent there as much as I can. IRL I speed down in and out of that port at like 140k's. I try to mimic that in my truck!

According to Mandelsoft there will also be Perpignan; source.
Bear in mind there will also be a lot of new roads including the connections to Andorra and Spain as seen in the video Kutcheck posted a few pages back.
