Hi,

How do you add custom motorway junctions and such to a map? I've got a decent amount of modelling experience with Blender and would love to go about revamping some of the UK road network.

Thanks.

1. You don't model complete interchanges (or at least, we don't, SCS did this in the past); you split them apart into smaller elements, "prefabs". These smaller elements can be re-combined later, offering huge flexibility. FLD offers a large pack (which we use), but we are making our own set too lately.
2. You can't model prefabs in Blender, only in ZModeler. This is due to the fact that Blender can't handle the PPD-metadata elements yet, which are VITAL for prefabs to work at all. The PPD data controls vehicle paths, connection points and terrain nodes.

So, mainly the pieces are there. You just have to re-combine them and landscape them in the map editor. And that's easier said than done...
