OK, i reconsidered to share it here. I got a problem though - i have written it in a document and the extension doc isn't allowed. How am i going to share it here!? Seriously...Nico wrote:Why not share it on here so other users with the same question can see it aswell
Post the content? or maybe put a link up for other users?
ofc if you dont want to share it than don't

Pretty good tutorial, but I have to make one correction note: for the sake of possible conflicts, rename city.sii to something else. For Promods, we have city.promods.sii, which looks like this
Note that only the NEW cities are there and not the original cities.
Code: Select all
SiiNunit
{
# For modders: Please do not modify this file if you want to add a new entry. Create in
# this directory a new file "<base_name>.<idofyourmod>.sii" where <base_name> is name of
# base file without the extension (e.g. "city" for "/def/city.sii") and <idofyourmod> is
# some string which is unlikely to conflict with other mod.
#
# Warning: Even if the units are specified in more than one source file, they share the
# same namespace so suffixes or prefixes should be used to avoid conflicts.

Going to correct that, thanks!
EDIT: New problem, what do you mean with the correction. I wrote "That renaming is a must to avoid conflicts" clearly in the document
