downloaded the def generator for 1.98 but every time I go into the game the def file is not there. I have the other three files to run promods 1.98, downloaded it three times and still have no file to run promods, game keeps crashing. removed all 1.97 versions. a little help here please

Did you generate the def file at first, is it in your mod folder?

yes. have it in mods folder but there is nothing in it. I still have the 1.97 version and it has the def folder manifest the read me file and picture icon. the 1.98 version has nothing in the zip file. keep getting download was interrupted toward the end of the download and I have to run the download again.

Zip-file? It should be downloaded as *.scs file by default.

Do you run any downlpad accelerators? If you do, disable them because they easily screw things up and it's not working.


Also if you don't have anything in the def file just generate a new def file.
