First off, Hi!! My first post.
I have ETS 1.12.1 with the going east dlc.
I've only recently downloaded your ProMaps, in fact 1.71 is my first play about with it. I'm well impressed with the scenery etc..
I've just delivered some tatties to Bailystock, Eastern Poland and I've now found that I can't select that as my starting point as a new pick up as I can't get the map in the Freight Market window to move over far enough to view Bailystock and be able to click on it before the map "springs" back to its central or "normal" position.
In fact anything East of Warsaw and North of Olsztyn are technically out of bounds as I can't select the cities unless I want a long "empty" return trip (I like to select the city where I'm "at" to sort the jobs price wise).
Is there a fix for this? I did have a play with TSMmaps prior to ProMods (please forgive me, I'm new to the game!!) and they'd put out a fix with v4.7 I think it was that cured a similar problem I had with their v5.1 release.
Could it possibly be related to any other mods I'm using? If I could generate a new game.log I could possibly spot any errors. I do have one but its 4 days old and everything, mod wise, has changed since then!
I've discovered how to run the minicon and during an hour of game play the only complaint I spotted (in red) was about a Petebilt (???) truck which, although it showed in game OK, I've since removed.
Totally off topic, To reduce frequency of auto saves, do I increase or decrease the number 15 of the line autosave_interval: of the editor_data.sii file before repacking it?
Thanks in advance for any and all help. Now I'm off for a drive to Warsaw to pick a cream job!

The issue with the map zoom is not related to a (prior) map mod.
The values for the map zoom are stored in a file "def\game_data.sii", which may be overwritten by another mod. Check the mods which are loaded after promods (in alphabetical order) - sometimes weather or graphics mods overwrite our values.

Thanks to you both. I've several mods that contain that file (I always open the scs files up as I'm trying to understand the workings). I'll check them all out to see if anything is restoring it (in error!!) to default and report back with anything I find.
Just another quickie question if I may.
If a mod contains all of the "def/game_data.sii" data within it, can/should it really be cropped down to only contain the actual lines of data it is modifying, plus any headers/footers required and possibly any comments?
I'm thinking of combining several small mods I load up (just for my own personal use, plus a bit of practice) that I reckon I'll always be using and to reduce the number of "ticks" needed to activate them all when creating a new profile.
Thanks again.
Elmer
Without looking, at the moment my monies on Brighter Nights v2 (Nope, lost me money, not that one!).Yep generally it is a graphics/ weather mod, just rename it to start with A and reactivate it and it should be fine.

Thank your for your fix, I just renamed Promods with some Zzzzz at the front (and thanks to you, I have understood why plenty of mods have these zzzzz) so that the def overwrites any other, and it works.
I had just posted a topic about that issue, without noticing this thread, silly me. I will delete it as soon as it appears on the forum. Thanks again for your fix !

Well I checked the obvious (to me) and nothing changed!
So I tried Emyr57's method (Thanks!!) and the map moved about OK. I can now pick areas you haven't even reached yet! So I removed the 'zeds' from the promod file names and by a 4 move process of elimination narrowed it down to the culprit:- NoDamage_[MCM].scs
That mod contains the game_data.sii file
There's a colour line that's different from the one in thepromods-def-v171.scs file:
This zoom uplift line (most likely?):
And these camera_limits (or these most likely??):
There's a couple of changes to the damage co-ef's (0.0003) and the max speed limiter (100) but I've changed those from the "original" No Damage file I downloaded. Oh, and a different forest.ogg file.
Of course the promod file also contains lines missing from the No damage file.
So which is the most likely guilty party? Possibly just for my own curiosity, but I'm thinking I'll merge this in with your (my?) promods def.scs file.

The culprit with me was Improved weather mod. But in putting Promods last in alphabetical order, many things from Improved weather stopped working. So I put Improved weather last in alphabetical order (adding Zzz) and copied the values from Promod's game_data.sii to Improved weather's game_data.sii to fix the map zoom :

Hi Emyr.
In the end that is basically what I've done apart from in reverse!
As there were only 5 or 6 relevant lines in my modified "no_damage" mod I dropped those into my promods def.scs file.
Everything is now sweet!!
Thanks all for the help!!
Oh, I discovered anything to do with the map was guilty, depending on which map you were looking at.
