When I first started playing ETS2, TSM was practically the only map mod available. Once I'd driven on it for awhile, I began noticing that North Africa didn't look all that much different from places in Europe. Worse still is that they had used some really ugly palm trees to replace the ones that were used in their European counterparts.

It was indeed not just a case of "deja vu" but was indeed a blatant and crude copy/paste...

After a couple of months just before "Going East" was released, I dumped TSM entirely and haven't looked back. After driving on PM, Radol's PR, and as a different experience Frank's Hungary map, I'm totally spoiled for the incredible wealth of detail and realism these maps offer! :)

totally agree with last post. some of the trees look really false. downloaded tsm today out of curiosity and spent some time in Morocco and was really dissapointed. endless areas of absolutely nothing. Greece seemed a bit better but still lacking in detail. uninstalled after a day. promods all the way.

I started off with when I got into ETS2 with TSM & then switched to ProMods after a work mate told me about & used it ever since. I in the last few weeks have been doing a lot of mod testing & got the lastest TSM & it is rubbish in my opinion. Incompatibility issues with other mods, bugs in the maps & lots of game crashes.

So with all the testing I've done using lots of the same mods have found they work with Promod 152 & the maps are so much better, it's all about quality & no quantity. Great work promods team :).

I'll now post my mods test findings in the "Other Mods that work with our map". :)

Well we can't really say anything about the bugs in the map when promods currently has some nasty invisible walls around Germany. :P

Kinda wish they would release a patch to fix those issues since we have no way of knowing how long the 1.9 patch could take.

We know alittle about 1.9 patches and at least the game doesn't crash every 15 min like TSM does ;)
Am I developing at the moment?
