Yeah I would hate living in the US for that reason.

The reality is that in countries where automatics dominate, manual cars are usually $5000 more expensive than an automatic.
In countries where manuals dominate, automatics are usually $5000 more expensive than a manual.

One huge benefit of automatics is that they reduce congestion. It's a proven statistic that changing gears takes more time in stop & go traffic, therefore traffic congestion in Europe is actually much worse than in the US with the same a mount of vehicles.

My dream garage would be the whole ///M3 family from the e30 to the f80 and the e39 M5. but my favourite is defenetly the E46 M3. I don't have a special reason i just identify with the car
