We were talking about it in the team but probably barely anybody would seed it, so that idea got rejected.

That's not the main reason, versioning and archive corruption , plus doing it will not generate any revenue stream to pay for our infrastructure

I'm pretty sure Promods has a fan base large enough to seed, as for the revenue - wouldn't getting through ad.fly to get .torrent file be enough?

I don't think Torrent would be a clever decision, be it only reputation-wise. Feeding the Torrent links even with adf.ly wouldn't really help on that regard then...
