I meant that they eventually could try to find the problem by looking in the game code... But oh well, otherwise maybe your key is corrupted according to the game so maybe a new key should help? And yes i know it eventually could lead to buying the game again which seems pretty pointlessRoadRageDude wrote:yea but dont u think they should know better? I mean its their game ik that

No idea since it was just an guess
But anyway i have an idea - report it to the SCS' forums. Or to be more specific, the Help center - player to player or any similar place. Maybe something to try if you haven't done that

Ok do it then (or well maybe you've already done it, who knows). I also want a link to that topic you're reporting your problem, just so that i can take a look
or just contact SCS.
They are the ones providing the game's service so they will also take care of customers with "broken" ETS2 keys.

well why did they thought keys was a good idea?
lol seriously?
Maybe to secure the game so that their is some sort of control...
Otherwise it would be very easy to just spread them all over the internet.
I think that 99% of the products you buy for computers have a key. Here is a simple list:
Windows, Microsoft tools, ETS2, BF, Editpad Pro, Zmodeler, 3DSMax, Sony Vegas, Fraps etc etc etc

Nico i'm pretty sure it's entirely for piracy reasons Don't get me wrong but any kind of key, DRM etc. is just to try to prevent piracy - altrough these do quickly get hacked unfortunately Nowadays it seems like the game industry is desperate to kill off piracy forever - just do a quick search on google and you can find stuff like always-online and other idiotic stuff
