Yes, exactly. The ferry price does more impact due to our less income. But hey, why not changing the ferry prices manually? hehe

Not much to do but my problem is idk the ideal prices for each connection. How much should I reduce the ferry prices in percent?

Yep, as explained in my earlier message, finding all the right prices online is not an easy task. Plus this Promods def file only contains the ferry lines that are not in the stock game, if I am correct. For example, Calais is not listed. That means we'd also have to edit the def file in the stock installation. I don't think I have the courage to look it up for now :) However, if you want to get a good idea of what real prices look like, you can check what the creator of Economy Overhaul has done here: https://mythiq.net/economy-overhaul/. You'll see a list of all the stock ferry lines with their revised prices. From what I can see, there is a 25% discount on most of them.

Does it work on 1.38? Will it work properly with latest promods and rusmap? And what are your impresions overall guys, is it worth downloading?

Yes it does. It already worked fine on 1.37. As far as I'm concerned, I like it the game better with this mod, even though it takes more time to get money and buy my own truck. But there's still the ferry line issue. It is very expensive in comparison with what you get for completing a job. For now, I'm not charged for fares as I don't have my own truck but it might be an issue at a later stage. But that's fine as long as the game is more realistic about the wage for each job.

I tried it, works just fine. About that ferries, I got a freight from Katowice to some town in Iceland and got payed around 7k, but had to spend about 2.5k on a ferry. It ain't that bad IMO. Long routes with ferries on the way are fine to me when it comes to earning money.

Sure, but I guess you have enough experience to max up you wage per job. When you start using your own truck and you only get around €3.5/4K for a long-distance job and you have to pay around €2K for a ferry crossing, you have to think about it twice

That means you're not charged yet for these ferry crossings as you don't have your own truck/company. So your employer supports them. That's why you don't lose money.

I have my own truck and I use the freight market. I may have added some money to my account to buy the truck last year when I started that profile, that probably explains it. :D
