SCS 1.40 update

Hi everybody.
Sorry for that. But now i ask this unavoidable question someone will ask after each SCS Update:

"Dear ProMods-Team. When will the ProMods for 1.40 available? What do you think?"

I know you do really a great and hard work every time SCS is updating ETS2. Thank you for that!!! And i know, good work takes its time. But i feel like a small child before Xmas by looking forward to the ProMods-Version compatible with ETS2 1.40.

It could come withing hours, or it could take weeks. In worst case months.
Even ProMods staff does not know how long or short things will take. Unforeseen things can happen.
We'll have to wait and see, when the new ProMods versions come.

Yes, I think it would take some time because of Iberia DLC if I am not wrong!
**I am not a developer.. it is just my opinion**

Edit: I was wrong.. I think Iberia is not compatible as the Compatibility ETS2 section of the forum says so.. devs please confirm

Iberia is not even out yet. How you expect it to be compatible?

I've got another question about 1.40. I haven't tried this version out yet and I won't until ProMods 2.52 comes out, but does anyone know if the minimal system requirements of ETS2 stay the same with 1.40? The reason I ask this is because the new lighting system has been implemented with this version and I'm not sure if this will make the game heavier, especially for your graphics processor?

It is heavily depended on what hardware you run the game.

Yeah of course it's heavily depended on that, but that's why my question is: is 1.40 (or more specific: the new lighting system) heavier than 1.39, or do the system requirements for 1.40 stay the same as for 1.39?

New lighting system is heavier but SCS didn't change the system requirements with version 1.40. Neither minimum nor recommended. But this doesn't mean anything about how you will be able to run the game in 1.40.

I must've asked about when Iberia is released.. will Promods have an update (2.53 possibly?)

Yes, promods will make an update after they have finished the merging process with the Iberia DLC. This usually takes around three month, so this might come in July/August.
