So just to confirm, Promods 2.52 can NOT be used with the new Iberia DLC? Because SCS' Spain will be replaced with Promods' Spain?
I'll go to my boring, vanilla profile then if that's the case

It's not just the bits of Spain, you've also got the connecting parts with France that have been made by Promods which will also be changed in the Iberia DLC. If Promods are just going to remove their work in those areas it shouldn't be such a big wait for a compatible version. Buuuuuuuut don't quote me on that because you can never really tell and I don't want to put words in the Promods teams mouths.

When you run ProMods 2.52 with the Iberia DLC enabled, the Iberia DLC areas will not show, instead you will have ProMods Spain. It will overwrite it.
If you want to use the DLC you have two options:
A) wait for ProMods 2.55
B) disable ProMods and play vanilla
A map mod cannot "magically disappear" when new DLCs arises, the map sectors need connecting.

as you mentioned，the southern part of France will also be replaced with scs Iberia，so will Pau，Narbonne and Perpignan be deleted as a part of this？

Yes. It would be wise to sell any garages if you have them in that part of the map

From my understanding, the first version of promods after the Iberian dlc will not require you to buy the dlc. However, it's almost certain that in future versions it will be mandatory that you to own the Iberian dlc, just as you are required to own all the other dlc that has been released

The next version of ProMods will require the Iberia DLC. For those who don't want to buy it, you will have to stay on 2.52
