I would prefer not to add long-distance ferries like Helsinki to Poland or Oslo-Kiel etc because of the simple reason that it is kind of a "cheat". The game sat nav will always take the shortest route and therefore (technically) always skip the area in between.
It would be much more fun once the Baltic countries are connected that you are able to drive from Poland to Helsinki through them
