I expected this error to occur:

Code: Select all

00:00:00.371 : <ERROR> [zipfs] Invalid central directory offset in 'C:/Users/Leon/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod/promods-def-v197.scs'.
00:00:00.371 : <ERROR> [package] Unable to mount package 'promods-def-v197'.
Your DEF file is corrupt.
Re-download it.
If that doesn't work, try to re-download it with another browser.

Thx a lot MandelSoft, downloaded again with Chrome this time, and it's showing now.

Hi
I've tried the steps above but the issue persists.

I've regenerated the def file.
Here's my log http://pastebin.com/1w0ZJkeg
Here is a screenshot of my mod files: http://imgur.com/qkKSZVG

They simply don't show up in the game.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure that you put the files into right folder? ;) It should be named "mod", not "mods".
Also, download 2.02 if you are using 1.23 version of the game.

I found another problem, which can cause this situation - check that your adblocker don't work on this site, because in that case it's also make the def-file "invisible" for game. It was my case for example. :)

Thanks Zniwek - I realised both of my mistakes. Yes, the folder should be called mod not mods and I needed to download the newest mod. However I discovered that the game would crash if I created a new profile. I could only run them with a established save (own truck). Can anyone confirm?
