It's indeed Salla. On the second screenshot you can see the Salla church, which has quite a genuine shape

Looks good but please don't use that French landmark. It's in the top three* for misused landmarks and breaks realism.

*the other two being the Czech cycle bridge and the English wooden statue

Well, there's a monument in the center of the roundabout in real life, so I placed something there too. At least there's something - and I'm not sure if it's really worth it to create a special model for a roundabout monument you rarely pass on your journeys and if you do, just can see it just for a few seconds.

I sometimes think the same when rebuilding interchanges near Poznań - why am I trying to add so many details? Evey sign, every crash barrier is placed almost the same as IRL. 99% of players will just drive very fast and won't even realize that it's as realistic as possible. So, I can make it less realistic but I'm still trying to keep it as close to reality as possible. The same goes for that roundabout. If someone can create a model in his free-time, then it's going to be awesome, even if we'll all hardly even pay attention to it ;)

My opinion is that it's better to use no model instead of a "misfit landmark". Your mapping looks really good, it's just that's one of my pet peeves about Promods. It's this particular model (and some others) popping up all over the map and it breaks realism for me quite a lot.

Perhaps some modeller could make a bunch of generic models that could be used for such occassions, something that doesn't resemble a real life sight. It's reasonable that you don't want to make a unique model as it's a rather remote place that is hardly to be passed as you said. But putting that French thing there is ... well, not my taste :P

I will look into it (or, better to say, some of the team's modellers will... I hope ;) ). And about those generic landmarks, that's not a bad idea either.

Speaking about this, model reuse is a must when mapping  (Salla church). I hope you won't lose the immersion feeling when driving there later because of this image I share, it's just for fun :P
