Yup figured it out, create a box or sphere, convert it to a dummy node add the controller in square brackets after the name of the object
Node object has to be a child of the model objct your are working with
Nico wrote:SmokeYou can control it's direction by turning the model (pretty stupid, don't know why SCS made sure that they always had the same direction).
Looks weird with smoke in all directions isn't possible to fix this somehow?

First: yes true, that is how it works.

Second: didn't do in depth research but with the knowledge I have not.

I won't. For two simple reasons;
  1. I've spent countless hours in making this map. I want people to be driving in it.
  2. A partial release could give me useful feedback for the next part of the map I'll be making.
Meanwhile;

Amazing work! Seyðisfjörðu and Höfn are just scenery cities right?

There's too much smoke in the cities, it keeps looking like the houses are on fire and it's putting me off slightly.

Icelandic houses are heated with water, most (newer) houses don't have any hearths and chimneys at all, and in most of the houses that do have them, the chimney has been blocked with cement. Of course, there are a few houses with a working hearth, but that's a status symbol, not a common thing.

Other than that, it's looking pretty good!

Seyðisfjörður is the ferry town. I think you can compare it to Hirsthals.
Höfn isn't really a town you can drive through, but it has a gas station, and there's a remote farm and quarry assigned to it.

Useful info, but I cannot edit the models myself. But it's good to know we might as well remove the smoke rather than adjusting it.
