I think a city between Jyväskylä and Kajaani may be added.

The city coming north on Jyväskylä is Kajaani.

They are nearly lined up horizontally. Kajaani is just a notch towards East.

Kajaani is nearly lined up with Kuopio, not Jyväskylä north of Jyväskylä there is Oulu, around 300 km to the north with azimuth of 358 degrees which is almost perfectly to the north.
There actually just few towns between Jyväskylä and Oulu, from which none deserves to be represented in game in my opinion. Between Kuopio and Kajaani there is Iisalmi, but I would hesitate with including it.
Kokkola is another thing, it should not be a big deal when it comes to space between Vaasa and Oulu. However, let's let Platypus decide with cities

I'll share a bit of the progress. I've built a piece of road south of Oulu, leading to Jyväskylä, and also a side road which roughly represents the road 827.
