Its ready when its ready
We beta-test in phases because the entire map can't be tested satisfyingly in one go. Ireland was the first ready beta phase while other areas are still being developed.

That makes sense, because you never know if something will happen if there is a glitch or something not good
ProMods 2.1 had 9 beta versions + 2 Release Candidate versions.
Every beta stage contains only a part of new terrains for two reasons:
- something is finished and wating for testing, while other work is still in progress (and will be included in later beta stage)
- testing everything in 1 beta is too much
Testing in stages lets us focus more on certain areas.
Then we fix bugs that were reported.
Next beta contains new areas + bugfixes in previous areas so new content is tested and old bugs are checked to be sure they're fixed.
It takes a few months and we're not close to the release![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

Its a good approach when you have a lot of stuff being integrated into the package like this, too much all at once is overwhelming and people may not get to certain new areas as much as others. I usually spend time hopping around with these beta trying to scour as much territory as I can while finding bugs. If we pushed it all out at once I'm not sure I could cover all of the new stuff and be as efficient with reporting bugs.

It goes without saying, I know, but the level of detail you guys are putting into this is simply stunning and I cannot wait to drive on these roads. Which is slightly strange as I drive trucks all week in real life and usually can't wait to get out of the UK!
