We are currently not aware of the details of multiplayer support for mods - or to be more precise - if there are any requirements.
Once 1.42 releases, promods needs to get an update and then this mod can follow. So at this point, I can't really say if this mod will work with multiplayer support in 1.42. But that certainly is something we will be looking into.
If you are asking if this mod works with Convoys / TruckersMP as of 1.41 - no it does not.

SCS released version 1.42 of the game a few days ago - so as usual we're gonna wait for promods to release their compatibility update, have a look what needs to be changed in the Finnmark (which hopefully won't be too much) and then we should be ready for the release of a new version with new content

The new version of the Finnmark Mod has been released. It is compatible with ETS2 version 1.42 as well as Promods 2.57. Since the Middle East Addon of Promods did not release yet, I can't say if it is compatible, but I don't really see reasons why it should be incompatible...
Besides the obvious extensions into Troms and the northern part of Nordland, there have been some changes to the existing areas. Those have been made with an eye on performance optimizations, so there might be areas where you realize less trees or different trees for example. Especially in Alta the game should run a little more smoothly than before - hopefully...
Ferry
The ferry link has been tested with HCT trailer combinations and the spawn points are far enough from any walls, so that you should have no issues using that ferry. If you use some other mods in addition that allow for longer combinations, be aware that I cannot guarantee unproblematic spawning if you exceed 50m in vehicle length (actually 55m should be good as well but no guarantee
)....so maybe create a save file first or just take the long way.
Multiplayer / Convoy
When creating a convoy session with mods, it has reportedly been observed that changes to the mod files of whatever nature will result in compatibility issues unless all user use exactly the same mod files. That extends to your personally created def file package for Promods. So just use the steam-workshop def package from promods if you plan to use Promods/Finnmark in a multiplayer session. I know this mod is being uploaded all over the web, I can, however, not guarantee that those 3rd party downloads will give you the same files, which might result in compatibility issues when you try to connect with friends. Just make sure you have the same files and you should be good to go.
As always, if you find any bugs, please report them here - otherwise I cannot fix them
