Is The Great Steppe extension connected to the other areas (Russia via Rusmap, Turkmenistan via Road to Asia...) ?

It is connected via RusMap, but there is also a train connection which is a seperate mod, if you don't use RusMap. I'm not sure about Road To Asia though, sorry.

I remember there was no connection between Road to Asia and a map extension called The Great Steppe (not the one developed by Promods). Therefore, you couldn't cross the border between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan : you had to go through Russia, Azerbaijan and take a ferry to get to Turkmenistan

I am glad that Kazakhstan is back and under the wings of Promods. First of all congratulations to the first creator of this map. I wish you success in further development of the Kazakhstan area.

Will Astana be in future updates?

I get a crash on the road between Chromtau and Qarabutaq.
