Kutchek's map was good, but the "autoroutes" in it are awfull, and some others aspects don't reflect France. It sounds rude, but everybody that really know France would agree with me.

It's too early to say, which things from Kutchek should be keep, and rebuilt. Before, let's drive in this virtual France by SCS, hoping the scs screens are representative of their work on the whole DLC.

That's harsh. :) Kutchek worked as best as he could with the models available. French highways looked a bit weird mostly because of the exists. After I unofficially joined the team to help with signs, we did our best to create authentic highways, but that was far from easy. He did some tremendous work with landmarks like Buzet Castle on the A62, recreated the medieval city of Carcassonne as best as he could, not to mention the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse. Carcassonne seems great on the DLC, but some parts like the landmarks and the signs we created are great, and I'm sure they would fit right in the DLC.

Hopefully I can still help with some more signs, but it would be up to the developer to know if he wants my help or not.

Meanwhile, we have succesfully merged Leo's Calais rebuild on the map. We also deleted a part of the old A16 from SCS, and made where it should be. Provisionally, we have connected it with Calais city, waiting for a full rebuild of the city.

Great to see work starting already on the merge. I'll be using 1.25 for the foreseeable future until promods is compatible with 1.26. I can't wait to explore France, but the game isn't worth playing without promods.

You'll see when we decide how we want to do it. Maybe 2 versions are possible.

That sound to be a good idea,because then people like me would not need to buy the Vive la France Dlc soon,
because then i and other people could buy it later too. :mrgreen:
So if you ask me,then i would say that at least i like that idea. :)

I think it will be just as with DLC Scandinavia, because when that happened, ProMods Scandinavia were removed and then rebuilding started.

But now there's non-DLC Paris that has to be combined with PM somehow, let us think and work ;)
