Having two teams was the intention but in the end it hasn't been achieved yet. This info has been confirmed in the SCS forum. I tried finding the precise post but I couldn't. Maybe it was Mandel itself? Edit: found here and here

Anyway, they are still trying to get to that point, as they said recently in their blog.

For me:
1 - Oregon: enough desert!
2 - Utah + Colorado: could be one only DLC for sure, with 20 cities or more
3 - Texas: will take time, it's a game apart! So many big cities.

Did anyone notice that in the U.S. Route 95 which goes north from Winnemucca (NV) and ends up in an oil station (which would represent McDermitt), the road isn't closed? I mean, that "barrier" with X that represents a WIP road, it isn't there. There is also the "Welcome to Oregon" sign.
I guess that SCS didn't do it as they imagined that almost anyone would go there 'till Oregon is done xD.

Yes, I noticed that. :D I hope Oregon will be done earlier than New Mexico.

Didn't they redo the map size in that time too? or does memory fail me?

Yepp they did, adapted from 1.15 scale to 1.19 (same as ETS2) i think it was in the spring?

It was 1:35, the map was much smaller ;) Now it's 1:20, ETS2 is 1:19 (1:15 for the UK). The rescale happened in December 2016.

Timescale 1:20 but... is the map scale 1:20 too?
I think that SCS has had a good working pace. With both ETS2 and ATS.
