Development on version 1.x (Current Map Improvements)

There is a little more of 100 km of roads on four different islands, small industries and everything required to start, like in Liechtenstein I did before. It was here quite challenging to create because of restricted available space...

Not many time to continue it today but I will post the map. More pictures to come this week-end.

Yep, exactly . Technically there are also more than four Channel 'Islands'. Anyway, we'll never see them in ETS 2, and I'm glad of that because it would be unrealistic and pointless to include them...

From Thorshavn I don't think Oyggjarvegur across the highlands is suitable for trucks. Use Kaldbaksvegur route 52 along the coast of Kaldbaksfjordur it's the main route
There's a tunnel and you'll get to the road to Klaksvik a few kilometer short of where Oyggjarvegur ends
Ok you'll lose 25 km from Thorshavn to Klaksvik

Otherwise almost same plan I am using allthough the garage will be placed outside Thorshavn and a logistics company at Vágar Airport and a Fishing Industri somewhere

Hi,

Thanks for your comments Here answer to some questions :

• Bauhaus in Klaksvik : I think it's not possible (no place at all for such big prefab) and it would be irrealistic to have such a shop in a small town of less than 5.000 people IRL. So only a small warehouse and a farm.
• Road 52 vs road 10 via highlands : well I needed here to make a choice because of lack of space. It's very small and was difficult to create such scenery. Fjords will already seems less wide then IRL but as you can see on picture, road map looks nearly like IRL, behalve some shortcuts. So, to avoid you can see Klaksvik from Torshavn , I needed to make some choice, and road by highlands allowed to be hidden behind a mountain on some points. Also, it gives some relief to Faroes and challenge to drive (it remains a game). I tested it in ETS2, you can climb it with 25 tons of concrete, gradient is less than slope to hotel in Liechtenstein
• Garage : there is a garage in Torshavn.

Thanks for the reply! Im excited for the Faroe Islands (I am "collecting" garages by buying one everywhere I go so I was hoping there was one in Faroe Islands and very happy to hear there is one)
