Whatever the new, yet unnamed DLC brings.
I am sure that ProMods can improve it.
At the same time, there will be people that say that the new DLC sucks, while others will defend it.
Big + for map modders will be new assets.

SCS gets a big thump up from me.
And ProMods mappers gets a big thumbs up from me.

Given the size of the team, and the amount of time the team has been sitting on it, the whole Balkan area isn't a far stretch. Not sure would Romania be counted in or not however.

Another option would be all the balkan countries outside of the former Yugoslavia (so Romania, Bulgaria and possibly Greece) - though this makes for a really odd gap in the map.

I'd be very interested in seeing maps of these areas being updated as closely as possible as the real-world is updated, however. A lot of highway projects being carried out.
''Research and pre-production have actually started over half a year before the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC was released.''

They are working from so much time on it, so there is the possibility that most of the countries are gonna get included, and we still have time, because if we saw a teaser, that doenst mean its gonna get released soon.

It's only research, no development

I really hope that we can see Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece in the upcoming DLC. Then my heart would be happy

They may have started a long time ago, but that don't mean this DLC will have a lot of countries. And it's not even confirmed, so it will be out in a very looong time.

Pre-productions is what the research and assets team do. Search info of the countries involved, developing their signals...

Well there is short teaser video with this horse towed wagon there..

Arayas from Roex Project recognized the Area with that churchtower in the background as a Romanian city and he also mentioned the wagon with horse is their national vehicle.. So since he is Romanian
And since the SCS chief showed a little Dracula as a hint for next DLC I think it will be Romania for sure.

The question is will it be only Romania? Last time SCS made the Baltic states, Finland and a part of Russia, so I think there will be more countries than just Romania. Maybe Bulgaria and the Balkan states too?

I would be a logical step to go ahead.. It would fit at the original MAP without the need for having a DLC for it...
I would also like a Spain/Portugal DLC, but for this you must have France.. And SCS also said that the Iberian peninsula is actually not on their schedule.
