right ive tried changing the economy reset to 1 and saving the config and the game is still crashing. im not even getting the windows error message the game just shuts off instantaneously? im very confused.

this is getting ridiculous, might just give up playing ets2 if this carries on. ive also re downloaded all the promods packages and DEF to make sure no files are corrupt.

As told earlier, you need DLC Italy now for RusMap, buy it or remove RusMap.
And remove this:

is there an older version of rusmap thats compatible without needing italy dlc? thanks for the help ill try the game again now.

The older RusMap v1.8 does not require the Italy DLC, and it works with ETS2 v1.31 and ProMods v2.27.

There's no need for it, ProMods 2.27 doesn't require that DLC.

Then, why does the log say that it failed loading Italy DLC things and right after that crashes?

Because some of his other mods may require it...
