And car transporters are similar. They're a lot more sophisticated these days than the old basic 2 deck system.

If you make them standalone and give them their own cargo files, they shouldn't interfere with trailer mods at all.

Our trailers are stand alone. But in the past you had to be careful about naming the cargo files to avoid overwriting. With the new file based cargo system this is obsolete. :)

Promods leave the promod-def.scs open so you can edit those files to suit you. So you can remove the truck transporter related files at your discretion.

Promods doesn't currently touch the file that would increase truck AI traffic, but it's a simple thing to change. If you need any help, then feel free to shoot me a PM, I'll be happy to talk you through it.

Just a thought, why not add an option in the def generator, so you can switch between ProMods trailers or not for those (very few) people who don't want them?

Uhm well right now the def gen only affects the game_data file.

We could add an option in the future but than there is the question if we should constribute the trailers in the main pack.

Something that would be a better idea is to create a ProMods company mod with extra trailers etc as a seperate download here on the forums.

Yeah that is defo a solid base.

Maybe we need to get into touch with Bora and Nordish to add some of their epic trailers and make it a big company mod ;)
