I can recall seeing an "I am an apple." sentence in several languages. Ik ben een appel. in Dutch and is úll mé in Irish :D the latter one is basically all I remember from that insane language :lol:
And from time to time there are also some other funny senteces, I remember Myran tycker om spindeln. - The ant likes the spider. That must be a deadly relationship I think :P

I myself use Duolingo for swedish and german. Sometimes norwegian.

I sometimes use Duolingo to go on Danish learning sprees, just because I find it a beautiful language. My problem though is I'm only smart enough to learn one other language, and I don't know if I want to "cash it in" on Danish... something like French, German, or Latin would be much more useful for all the reading and studying I do...

No, I'm not using it because I learn these language in my school and I think 3 foreign are enough :D That is not a language school and I don't know why we have so many, but more=better :

We have 6 languages:Optional ones are German,French and russian (you can only pick one) Forced to learn:English and Swedish.
