1) disable Snap to Ground (the magnet with wavy line under)

2) place buildings while in the default looking down from the top view (By pressing C)
When I enable other three snaps except snap to ground;

On Free camera mode it refuses to draw.
On Top camera mode it draws but not on the ground but same crack occurs. Image

On 2, exact same thing happens on picture.

Sometimes F6 will not work correctly with building items, because the node has not touched the ground correctly or the surface is not even.
The best solution is to delete the building item and build it again

Umm Skul are you sure about that? Because I was doing my map with this method and since yesterday I had no problem. I am sure when I draw building it touches ground and I even more sure that SE road surface is the evenest surface in game. About your solution I already can't draw it so delete and draw again?

1. Create a new fence.
2. Go to "item properties"
3. Click "reset offsets"
4. Click "set as default"
5. Now you can draw fences again without them being cracked like this.

It worked. I still don't know what caused it but now I am good. Thanks Mandelsoft.

You probably set an F6'ed building as default before. The default shape of the building has been broken by the ground snap so that's what caused it.

[OFFTOPIC]

I hate school

[ONTOPIC]

Hello guys, I got a question; is it possible to delete more than one object (road, prefab, model, building, sound...) in an area? Be aware that deleting whole sector(s) is not an option.

Select multiple objects by pressing CTRL and click on the nodes and then remove them, basic computing knowledge, right?

You think I didn't try it? :| Am I look "that" nub in your eyes :|

What I tried:

Select multiple objects (from red nodes) then press D : Nothing happened
Selected multiple oobjects by sliding mouse cursor then press D: Nothing happened.
First press D then select more than 1 nodes: Nothing happened
First press D then delete 1 by 1: There are thousands of objects so... Useless
Select objects and move them to neightbour sector: Useless
