It's no problem to place one or two companies to Harwich, I'm not sure it's a good idea though.. The same goes for Europoort and IJmuiden, I think that the map would get quite overcrowded in this area..
But yah, as Roro said, Hull is a big city and I was really missing it on the map.
Enjoy the evening

Development on version 1.x (Current Map Improvements)
That sounds fair. Anyway, let's not get too carried away and back to the topic.ZelvaCZ wrote:It's no problem to place one or two companies to Harwich, I'm not sure it's a good idea though.. The same goes for Europoort and IJmuiden, I think that the map would get quite overcrowded in this area..

Yeah it does....
The single track road currently used is a fairly close approximation of the A64, A1079 and A164 as they lie, between the A1, York and Beverley....
It is an approximation though as the entire area around Yorkshire and Lincolnshire is badly designed in the base map and about 10 years out of date with current redevelopment of the M1, A1 and M62, primarily which is the missing segment east of the A1, which could include Goole. It does need renewal, but with SCS's plans clashing with Promods, it's awkward right now.

Well I did plan to make a complete rebuild of Europoort. It's the biggest port in europe so that should be noticable in ETS2 in my eyes
Anyways I suspect that we will do a rebuild of it when we get busy rebuilding the Netherlands.

Am I developing at the moment?

I've been to Harwich in real life to take the ferry to Hook of Holland port and I would say it probably doesn't need to be represented in the game as what is there is fairly accurate. Basically the main road in real life leads to the ferry port, which is twice the size of the town itself which is a small sea front and a main street with one or two suburbs behind. You could maybe fit in a company but if you are going for realism it would just be a scenery town.
Hull definitely needs to be a city, though! Either way, best wait to see what SCS are planning on doing before we dive into this, because the UK as a whole needs a near complete rebuild!
