On their VK page it was mentioned the author were really busy right now and can't do any map work at the moment but will update to 1.44 as soon as he'll have time for it.

The author of the Southern Region project is still busy with things in everyday life and it is unknown when the update for 1.44 will be released.

Southern Region 10.9 (1.44) defmap
Download original Southern Region 10.9 package and replace the DEFMAP file. Use it with or without any maps.
*this is just a fix, until the owner has time to release a new version.

Arayas, Thanks for making a fix, but actually why was the fix necessary? For some reason it kept my game stuck in a "navigation cache loading vicious circle" upon every startup, something like this:
00:15:39.880 : <ERROR> Map link conflict for 0x46331C20A9800669, two items are probably using the same prefab, check city assignment, list follows
00:15:39.880 : <ERROR> item 0x46331C209580065D city 'rostov'
00:15:39.880 : <ERROR> item 0x46331C20A9800669 city 'rostov'
So I don't know if there is a mod conflict, but I edited the original def manifest to 1.44 and that problem doesn't occur. Map seems to run fine.

I suppose a 1.44 update won't be needed at this point because of the 1.45 BETA test. And we know how fast it ends to be a test.
