Hello
the rusmap has a lot of bug like the Russian pilocar cars in France or the italian one in Russia, the name of the cities in Cyrillic only, we will have to wait for the release of the v1.33 and the promods that will accompany it ...

originaly rusmap city names are in english.. but compatibility mod author chooses russian as language for cities as its official language in Russia this is not a bug..

+ also.. you can self made mod/translate city names as you wish..

and... last official compatible ets2 version for rusmap was 1.31.. so... WAIT.

The whole map will need to be remade before it's ready for release due to Baltic DLC. This is going to remove a huge section of map from Rusmap. On top of that the author has to consider compatibility, connections to SCS' DLC as well as revamping parts of the map with new assets. And that's on top of any possible expansions he has planned.

Tl;dr don't expect a new version til maybe mid-2019, and that's being optimistic.

Whole map needed to be remade, why?
Well, ProMods has a similar connections to be made to the Baltic DLC, as RusMap.
When a connection to the DLC area will be released by RusMap, we have to just wait and see.
Replacing old assets with new, that! should take time.

The biggest loss for RusMap, might be the Nöteborg "Шлиссельбург"?
That area would need a sector check to see if it would be totally overwritten by Staraya and Shcheglovo, Leningrad, oblast, Russia. "No space to add it, I mean"
At Vyborg, SCS seems to say:
Here! road to Lappeenranta!

You can try this: (RusMap Police Fix)

and this: (rus_eng)

Baltic DLC will only come into handy with new assets, like the Saint Petersburg ring road can be replaced with the new assets

If Baltic DLC does take over parts of RusMap in the next release, expect the roads to be much more unrealistic than in RusMap. Only great quality roads in Baltic DLC, no poor quality roads like there are in IRL Russia, which RusMap properly illustrates.

Sure providing connections with Baltic DLC would be mandatory, but RusMap should keep developing the Pskov and Leningrad Oblasts.
