Hi there!

I have problems to arrive (a few kilometers) the company for delivery, it's a iced road on Iceland. Without the trailer I can not more faster speeding up, it is the same. Five kilometers, a little bit angry.

While the delivery is supposed to be challenging, you can sort of cheat your way through it with another mod. By downloading Russian Open Spaces Mod you get a mod called "snowroad80.scs" which gives you the ability to travel up to (and a little over if you have a good engine) 80 km/hr. Hope this helps.

Funny Plykkgaard says to use manual, while on the SCS forum there is currently a debate about top end engines not having an manual gear box option.

So which one is more realistic, switching mid game to manual, or not having a manual at all lol

Or you could simply get a 6x4 truck, better tires (especially with 1.17, it matters now), any engine above 500 bhp and a manual gearbox.

The tyres matter?

Last I checked the tyres didn't matter at all. It is something they want to add at a later date. They want to get them licensed so that companies would be more willing to share tyre data with them, last I heard the tyres are currently just visual differences.

They do, but, my bad, not at 1.17

We do not think the changes should stop at cosmetics alone, we are sure that gameplay would only benefit if different tyres would have different properties, and it would be up to the player to choose the correct tyre for a given situation. So for future evolution beyond the 1.17 update, we plan to get inspiration from real world tyre labelling when expanding the simulation properties. We think of adapting the officially existing tyre grading system for our needs...
