Thats the most fun part. Go on a road trip in ProMods which is not visual on the world map. SCS themselves has also done the same thing, first introducing it in DLC Scandinavia.
Developer of ScandinaviaMod ProMods map add-on
- E18 Oslo-Kristiansand(Larvik, Porsgrunn, Skien, Arendal)
- E39 Kristiansand-Stavanger(Stavanger & Kristiansand rebuild)
- E6 Lillehammer-Otta(rebuild)

I can't be alone in this but I really don't like the idea of the hidden non GPS roads, it kinda breaks immersion. I don't mind SO much on RUSmap where I would imagine GPS is a bit shit, but to have hidden roads in Europe where every single road, footpath and carpark is mapped on a GPS it seems weird to me.

I know a lot of people would disagree however.

Well the route advisor isn't OSM. I'd rather compare it to a shitty old Garmin Satnav or something similar. :P

And I use a mod to remove artifical roadblocks on the roads, so this means I won't be able to find the hidden roads. This is a personal thing though.

I didn't add any hidden road. I've just placed an object somewhere but not on main road. It's in France. In DLC France area, to be more precise.
And no idea what do you mean MYE2001 - if road is blocked, it means it's not drivable so you can get yourself into trouble but I understand why you're using it. Roads that are some hidden shortcuts, aren't blocked anyway.

Zwinek, that mod in particular removes the artificial-looking blocks in front of certain roads to maintain a more realistic feeling of the game. However, it also removes the invisible wall that prevents you from going that way  So it can make exploring a "hidden" road nearly impossible because you're never sure if you've actually found a hidden road or if you're going to be driving into the abyss.

It will be released when it's ready to be released. Don't rush the modders.
