Finnish place names can be funny if translated literally.. I remember seeing a settlement called Huonosuo = "bad swamp" on a map

It's scratched and dirty. It was modified a bit, the Outokumpu text is harder to read now because it's hidden behind the texture.

There is also place called Saaranpaskantamasaari and it means the island shat by Saara XD

I love those companies that are connected by small roads. I once almost wrecked a truck trying to reach a farm in Rusmap, and I loved the fact that I was smiling and cursing at the same time Great to see those small roads here too!

I can certainly understand that the ETS2 map is maybe not big enough to add Kouvola as a town. The reason why I asked about it is because my girlfriend is from Kouvola. It'd be nice if you'd maybe add it as a little scenery town like you mentioned before. But even if not.. I would still like to ask if you'll put it on some signs. Like for example in the Netherlands there are cities on the signs that don't exist in the game. It would still be nice to drive around Finland and see Kouvola on some signs.

We are currently working on correction of the Finland map. By example, Helsinki was placed too far east when built in version 1.00...

This make construction of cities between it and the Russian border difficult due to lack of space). The first part of the work is now completed (moving cities). Second part is to relink the roads together (and to upgrade the vegetation and textures of course ).

I will post some pictures when possible. But it should allow to create a scenery city at Kouvola and Kotka. The last one could however become a small city as Porvoo (with a limited amount of industries and services)

It would also be nice if people like me could see a road sign near Helsinki that will say Vantaa on it.Because the airport near Helsinki is actually in Vantaa,even if some people say it is in Helsinki-Vantaa.That same airport is also in the Promods map near Helsinki.
