Since I have got my SSD not too long ago I am more willing to play Cities: Skylines again but I am too hooked towards Promods 2.1 to play a different game.

If you really like the game I suggest you acquire it during a sale (next sale will be around Halloween though can't guarantee that CSL will be on a sale then. After that it's Christmas sales). I bought it with the full price the day after it was launched and IMO it was still cheap (compared to other similar games). ;)

If a game is bought legally, you can use cd-key and activate game on steam. Google it for more details.

Is CSL even available in format other than a Steam game (legally)? I think other sites just sell Steam keys, correct me if I'm wrong. :?

Isn't there somekind of Paradox version? Which does not require Steam?
