Hello there,

This is because the game itself cannot handle too many details on the map, so it will running out of buffer while you are zooming. So, if you use multiple map mods, then you need this. SCS is currently fixing this.

Randomly when I open the map, the game tends to crash, sometimes it doesn't. I have tried disabling other mods but it only crashes like this if I have ProMods activated, and seems to happen when I zoom the map out. Have followed the Self-Help page and now I am on the last part, which is here.

Hello there,

You need the Zoom Crash Fix and a ProMods-compatible background map mod such as: ProMods High Quality Map Background. Put the background map mod somewhere above all of your map mods in the Mod Manager and put the Zoom Crash Fix mod directly above the background map mod.

Yeah I found that out in another post on the forums after I had posted mine. Maybe this should be included on the website that it's needed?
I am currently happily hauling cargo without issues.

Oh okay, thank you for the answer! Yeah I did download quite a lot of maps from this website..

everytime when i try to zoom out on the map i just crash and it happens all the time and the only map mods i have on is promods any help please

Hello there,

You need Zoom Crash Fix and ProMods High Quality Map Background. Put these 2 mods above all map mods. And also put Zoom Crash Fix above the background map.

Anyone else have this issue or have a fix, my game loads fine but when i go onto the world map and try zoom out the game just turns itself off.

Any help would be helpful.
