perhaps in the year 2120
Well, sorry that I have a life...
I just said it cause i don't see Promods going to Macaronesia. And I think that it isn't needed.
Btw, you're doing an awsome job, that's why I'm trying to help, giving my opinion instead of just asking. And we know how it works, "it's done when it's done!" :)

I know that Promods is not limited to observing the population, hence my suggestions as citizen of this country. Actually, I'm just trying to help.

Then follows a list with the turnover of the non-financial companies above € 3,000,000,000 in the year of 2016 by cities.

As we can see, there is LISBOA (Amadora, Cascais, Lisbon, Loures, Oeiras, Sintra), PORTO (Maia, Matosinhos, Oporto, Vila Nova de Gaia), BRAGA (Barcelos, Braga, Guimarães, Vila Nova de Famalicão), SETÚBAL (Setúbal, Palmela), LEIRIA and Santa Maria da Feira (again).

Now a map of portuguese ports.

And airports.

Speaking of islands, is the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Mallorca, possibly Menorca ?), Sardinia and Corsica going to be featured sometimes ? I know we still have the whole of Spain, Portugal and Italy to go, but I just wonder if perhaps someone has stick a fork in it and did something (or plan to do something) to it.

I propose to think of the following cities: LISBOA (Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, Loures, Amadora, Oeiras, Odivelas, Vila Franca de Xira [and Almada, Seixal on the other side of the Tagus river wich we call "Margem Sul"], PORTO (Vila Nova de Gaia, Oporto, Matosinhos [where is Leixões, the port of Oporto], Gondomar, Maia is located), BRAGA (Braga, Guimarães, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Barcelos), COIMBRA (the city of students), LEIRIA (representing the western region, where the rock pear is produced), SETÚBAL, FUNCHAL (in Madeira, perhaps in the year 2120  ), taking into consideration the cities of Santa Maria da Feira, Viseu, Faro, Évora and Guarda (the first one because, despite its population, it is not in any metropolitan area nor is it district capital, and the remainder because I believe they should enter for the reasons others have listed, but they do not have more than 100,000 inhabitants).
Hello. In the cities said by you, some as KrysEmlyn says are not important enough at the levels of industries or their port so other larger cities are favored. After, I also take into account the distance between cities otherwise there would be too much and therefore too much work for developers and scale problem. Setubal, it is almost paste of Lisbon (which is also the largest city and capital of Portugal so it will be gigantic) and the two probably can not be achieved without cutting part of the two cities. After, today, it is already necessary that Spain is almost finished to wait for Portugal so I do not think that one must ask oneself questions now. I am not a specialist in Portugal so on the design map of the Iberian Peninsula, I do not necessarily know if I made good choices.
