I know, this doesn't fit the theme, but the infrastructure in italy is very strange (roads)
They are always like this: One direction is like luxury, always with tunnels and more or less straight.
The other direction tries to somehow manage a course on the mountainside.
The A7 north of Genoa in ProMods is way too exaggerated and the curves are not that bad irl.

In fact, that may not be how it is at all, but it looks like that on gmaps.

That is only really the roads around Genoa.
Probably because they are upgrades of old provincial/state roads and they had to build a new carriageway but they couldn't be bothered with the other direction

90% of the autostrade in Italy are in very good quality though.

Look on the map in the OP. While it may be a bit outdated since this last update, I seriously doubt that La Spezia won't be coming, along with those road connections.
