Great signs! I think you should stick and be as realistic as possible about the language used on the signs. Don't use English if it isn't really used in Ukraine.

It looks like, that most of road signs (which are talking about directions) are both in Ukrainian and English. I've checked them in Google Maps.

I have one more question:
It seems, that in Ukrainian the cities names "Mukachevo" and "Beregovo", ends as well in "...O", as in Russian. Can you fix them before release of v2.0? ;)

From wikipedia:

There are many different ways to name Mukacheve. In Ukrainian it is usually spelled as Mukacheve while Мукачів (Mukachiv) is sometimes also used.[4] Its name in Rusyn is Мукачево (Mukachevo), which is also a Russian transliteration -Russian: Мукачево- as well as a name adopted by the local authorities and portrayed on the city's coat of arms. Other names are Hungarian: Munkács; Romanian: Muncaci, Munceag; Polish Mukaczewo; Slovak and Czech: Mukačevo; German: Munkatsch; Yiddish: מונקאטש‎ (Munkatsh).
