I had a look on my game.log and I found this:

Code: Select all

00:00:39.226 : <WARNING> Unable to find 'City' 'suzzara' for 0x7A0AF909BEB0000
00:00:39.283 : <WARNING> Unable to find 'City' 'parma' for 0x7794BF639BB0001
00:00:39.307 : <WARNING> Unable to find 'City' 'genova' for 0x76E9D6BFB9B0001
So I think we have some confirmed cities for Bella Italia DLC. :)

A little summary of Beta 1.30 and what to fix so far, or what I don't like IMO:

Scania:
Great looks, great drivability, some nametags and images are missing, so are all tuning options. No beacons.
When configuring the truck, all colours, especially metallic ones, look really pale and off, faded, simply indesirable.
That 6-speed box could have a bit longer ratios, I'm doing 1900 rmps at normal highway speeds, which doesn't help the fuel economy at all
Cruise control truck animation could actually move, maybe ACC will come in future updates. It will definitely come in handy...

Italia:
There's not much to say at the moment, toll payment options signs are messed up at many places (Telepass at the other side, etc., don't rely on them at the moment)
I don't like the fact that all guardrails are rusty brown, maybe it's the standard, maybe not, I'm not sure. Fresh one at some places would definitely spice things up.
Signs in general are unreadible. Big plus.
Finally those small gas stations have a form that is actually safe for the traffic. It also looks really good

And a special mention goes to the AI:
New vehicles! Cars with trailes, several new cars (Jeep Renegade, Mazda CX-3, New VW Multivan, etc.)
And they brake like crazy. Watch out, they merge into exit lanes at 50 km/h or less, that's hyper dangerous.
Policemen are either lenient, or they ticket you in a split second, especially when the limit changes when you're 2 cars behind them... or next to them. Pretty annoying, really

I'm sure that there's even more coming. Here's hoping that Italia will be in a bundle, same as New Mexico.

If you see an Italian guardrail that is not rusty in real life, please notify me with the exact position. It's something very unique. Seriously, they are all rusty.

They did on every road I've travelled on in Italy so far. But admittedly, that's not too many. :P

I only remember Italy from a bus... at night. All those motorway exits had a lot of orange lights all around the curves, I don't think I saw them in game. I have to do a trip there at night to check it.
