is it possible to make in the future Routiers in some of the French scenery Cities, in the old Citys like Dieppe, too?

Routiers are typical for France.

Some "Frites" Kiosk were also nice

I raised this idea before and he said he was going to look into it, so fingers crossed :)

There is enormously much to do to improve the map. We have new 3D models and therefore new possibilities. I look frequently what Realdeal make in Spain and I confess that I am fascinated by his creativity. Group Emulation is a good engine to always improve myself (and the map).

This is one thing and another is time. The mapping is an activity that eats enormously time.

My first goal for the moment is to finish coverage of France. I will then come back on details such as road or the creation of new roads later on the oldest part of the map of France

This does not preclude me to add restaurants in new road coming areas.

Well at least France will now be connected with Italy as of 2.0... good lord my feeble brain is having trouble comprehending the scale of this release.

I've just been reading the thread after a fairly long absence where I wasn't paying a lot of attention... keep up the good work as usual Kutchek. I especially like the idea of fixing up some of the existing areas... when you get there can you please get rid of that horrible SCS country road and replace it with the A1 connecting Paris and Lille? :)

I wouldn't mind keeping that road, but the A1 only makes sense to include, considering it's a major trucking axe. And when you drive on it, you see the bridge where the A1 goes over you, so somehow, on the map it's there, at least partially.

Also I think that SCS' reason for including that country road over the A1, that it is necessary to keep a mixture between motorways and roads, is invalidated by Promods, which adds so many country roads to the map all over the place and therefore balances the addition of more motorways. Including the A1 is I think the vastly superior option.

However, it is probably a long, long time until Kutchek gets there, so it's all very hypothetical. :)

It would be nice if Kutchek make the A1 and the N2. Both roads in Promods Quality would be very nice. Maybe the D966 from Vervins to Reims, too.

Then the A26, the Original Country Roads and maybe the A16 were redundant.

Like this.

This seems a good plan. I look at this more closely when I will improve the area. I think that even extend a road along the border to Metz or Strasbourg on the French side could still be good. (I didn't look at the road map)

In the same kind I will add a highway between Rouen and LeMans.

The A1 is the thing I miss the most in SCS's France map. However, it would require some massive rebuilding of the area, especially around Paris. Along the way you can see :
- The Stade de France (which is impossible to miss from the highway, a bit like the Allianz Arena in Munich)
- Paris Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport (if I remember correctly, there's even a part of the airport located above the highway)
- The Picardie TGV Station, which appears in the middle of nowhere
- Coal tips in the North of France
Source: myself, because I have lived in Lille for almost 20 years and went across this highway countless times. :)

Moreover, the whole Lille area is a patchwork of short highways. Rebuilding this area won't be easy for sure.
