There is a pretty low chance that it would work on 1.44, when 1.43 was released the 1.42 version had serious problems and it didn't work so no i don't believe it would work on 1.44
So i would wait until 1.44 version of rusmap will be released

Rusmap update to version 2.44
Rebuilt Zelenoborsky.
The second connection with Volga.map (Penza - Syzran) has been built, Penza itself has been slightly expanded.
Made a partial rebuild of obsolete map assets.
Game patch - only 1.44!!

Построено второе соединение с Volga.map (Пенза - Сызрань), несколько расширена сама Пенза.
Произведена частичная перестройка устаревших активов карты.
Патч игры - только 1.44!!

I'm using your 2.44 build with ETS 1.44, and I'm seeing two "Saint Petersburg" labels on the map.

For a start I thought it was something else in my load order, but I made a new test profile with literally ONLY the 4 Rusmap files and I can still see the two cities

Near Sankt Petersburg I have also problems with the map. There are the problems with the road connections in some places. In general all maps work and I can use rusmap, promods and other maps but in some places road isn't linked properly. I have similar problems with connection od southern region with Georgia.

I have this similar issue. I downloaded the maps and the the files can't open nor extract. It says the file is corrupt. I run ETS version 1.40.3

Promods 2.61 was already released. Are you gonna release the Promods and Rusmap connection?
