How did you manage to get this Trailer Pack over 2 GB? Even Jazzycat's mod which has around 2000 skins is around 2GB and doesn't impact the loading time of the Mod Manager badly.

Please tell me you did not do something silly like use 4k textures for the trailer skins. :|

I haven't downloaded it yet but I can see that the download is 75MB... are you telling me that that 75MB archive extracts into 2 GB???? :?

penguinaz - the download is compressed. When you extract you will find that the trailer package file (contains all the trailer skins) is about 2.35 GB.

My guess is that the trailer skins are 4k textures, but the game doesn't need 4k textures for trailers.

2k textures are more appropriate and don't make the game load so long.

And about 1.1k is optimal (but may look low resolution close up).

Okay. It is quite impressive that they have compressed 2.35GB into only 75MB

I'm sorry but me too confirm the problems of the other "truckers", expecially long long loading time and missing texture trailers. I don't know if you used 4k textures for the trailers but i think that not all of us have a super pc with 28" display or bigger, so at the moment this resolution is unnecessary, in my opinion :)

It is some time that i last jazzycats trailer pack (as i did not like the forced change of companys), but if i remember the uncompressed files had toghether a size of something over 3GB.......split into at least 2 scs files..

As mentioned already in this thread.
Those Trailers without a load are not a bug. They are intentionally added to give the AI Vehicles Empty trailers to haul.

That is the good thing with conpression methods.
If you put uncompressed files into an zip/7zip/rar (and what else there is) archive the size of it can dramatically decreased for download purposes.

Am I the only one seeing severe performance problems using this mod? It honestly wasn't that bad even with the insane amounts of mods that I had running but when this was brought in performance slows to a crawl and I get a really... diverse... range of framerates.
