I've just seen a Scania Plant in France ... is this correct
Sounds to me like you're in Frederikshaven <sp?>. You need to go between the red and white barriers to the left of the entrance of the parking lot. Follow that down to the ferry and you'll find the icon inside.BigLarry1950 wrote:I got to a Ferry terminal near Hirtshals. There is no green marine icon to stop at. I drove all around that parking area. I finally got stuck on the scales, thinking I have to go there before boarding. From drivers view point, the dropoff does not appear. The pavement shows faint tracks like vehicles just drove around to the left. I believe this is a bug in ProMods.

I'll have to reload the game from autosave ... LOL.

I figured it out, after I reloaded the game and it set me still on the scales. but I was able to back off of there, LOL. When I came from the opposite port, there was a sign there. But not on the side at Hirtsals. TY for quicks response.Jan Verschueren wrote:Sounds to me like you're in Frederikshaven <sp?>. As a general rule: don't look at the ferry icon on the map. Look where the dotted line begins. It's a better indicator of where the "ferry spot" is.
Even in "vanilla" ETS2 the ingame GPS will guide you accross a mountain pass where, at some point, you'll be reduced to climbing a B-road hill at less than 10mph to save you from making a 3 mile detour over a motorway which has no challenging gradients at all. Given what I hear from real truck drivers, this is actually a quite realistic feature of the game. None of them trust GPS devices, but plan their trips based on their (or others) experiences of roads and go for the highest average speed, rather than the shortest distance. To complain about this is akin to complaining about not having common sense.BigLarry1950 wrote:OK ... I have to commend the work you guys have done on this. Sure has made ETS2 very interesting to say the least.
I have two items which may be bugs ...
1. As I am routed through AAlborg, the GPS has me turn off the motorway and drive along the slip roads. This happens in both direction at this particular junction.

Again, this is an acknowledged issue. Please search the forum before spewing negativety.BigLarry1950 wrote:2. The AI cars do NOT observe red traffic lights or Round-about rules in Portsmouth. I am thinking about putting those placards in my windshield, "STUDENT DRIVER" so as to scare the AI drivers.
